Welcome to Green Mountain Yarn & Fiber

Come visit us! We're conveniently located on Route 4 East, just about a mile east of the Rte. 4/Rte. 7 intersection. (Just past Home Depot traveling west and Applebee's traveling east on Re. 4.)

Regular Hours:

Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5:30pm
Sunday from noon to 5pm
Monday from 10am to 8:30pm

Note: Monday sit-n-knit during the summer can be very slow. If you plan to be here, please call and let us know. We want to be here for you but don't want to be here alone! If nobody shows up or calls by 7pm, we will close early.

And, of course, you're welcome to bring your project and knit with us at any time. Depending on the day, you'll find one of  us in the shop with a ready smile and waiting to assist you.

Meet Louisa, our Green Mountain Fibers mascot. She's an Akita/Border Collie mix on the lookout for a sheep to herd.

Our fabulous sheep in the  upper window are from Fool on the Hill (now closed). Sheep that graces our doorway is hand carved by Tim Patillo of TPat Chainsaw Carving. You can occasionally catch him at his shop on Rte. 4 about a mile east of us.
