Shop Policies

Return Policy:  Unopened non-consignment yarn in its original packaging in pristine condition (free from odor, debris, etc.) may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 90 days of purchase.  Identification and a receipt are required.  All other sales are final.   There are no returns on needles, accessories, books, patterns (paper or electronic) or any other products other than full price non-consignment yarn.  Sales on discounted yarns are final.

Class Cancellation Policy:  If we have to cancel a class due to instructor cancellation, insufficient number of participants, or weather, we will offer you the choice of a refund or credit toward a future class.  If you have to cancel and we are able to fill your spot, we will offer you store credit towards a future class.  If we are unable to fill your spot, we will be unable to provide either a refund or a credit for the missed class.  Extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Yarn Winding Policy:  We are happy to wind yarn that you purchase from our shop.  We will wind your yarn at the time of purchase if there is time.  If the shop is busy, we may ask that you leave the yarn for winding and return for it at a later time.   We do not wind yarn that is not purchased here, because of the risk of introducing unwanted pests.  Also, because our winder is temperamental, we ask that you allow us to wind the yarn for you, rather than doing it yourself.

Gift Certificates and Gift Cards are valid for 5 years from the date of sale.
